A US-based financier is to donate $5 million to an Irish charity in a bid to improve the lives of people with hair loss.
A new campaign will encourage people with the condition to take part in a hair growth challenge, which involves taking a shower and wearing a hat.
It comes as Financestudio will announce a $5m donation to an organisation that provides support to people with genetic disorders.
The financestuddy said the prize money will go towards improving people’s hair, which it said can be a life-long condition.
“The Hair Loss Foundation has been providing a lifeline for thousands of people over the last few years through their Hair Growth Challenge,” said a spokesman.
“We hope this new campaign and new focus on the hair industry will help people in the Irish Hair Loss Community realise the importance of the hair as a lifestyle.”
Hair loss is an incredibly complex condition, and our focus now is to encourage people to take advantage of the many opportunities available to improve their health, self-esteem and appearance through the Hair Growth challenge.
“It is hoped that the new initiative will provide a boost to the Irish hair industry, which is in need of a boost.”
This challenge will help promote a positive outlook for people with Hair Loss.
